    So Wrong It's Right

Hometown gal and soldout fave Hesta Prynn (formerly of the all-female Long Island rap trio Northern State) has finally released her anticipated solo EP, titled "Can We Go Wrong?"

Consisting of six earworm-y pop tracks, strung together with heavy guitar distortion and hints of disco, "Can We Go Wrong?" suggests that HP made the right decision to move on from Northern State and tap into her songwriting strengths independently.

The fab trio of French-infused "La Coq Aux Folles," relentlessly catchy "Whoa Whoa," and the bangin' title track anchors the EP, while the XX-esque (say that three times fast) "Motive" slows things down a notch. Lady Gaga it's not, but Hesta has created a nice summer cocktail of genre-defying indie dance.

You can stream the EP below, but for only $3.99, you might as well buy the damn thing. That's like 67 cents a song, people.

(Hey, Hesta, call us. We'd love to do an Apartment Story with you.)
